At Park Private Clinic we deliver a full range of statutory medicals including UK Oil & Gas and Norwegian Medicals [OGUK formerly known as UKOOA].

We are an approved provider of UK Oil & Gas and our Private GP appears on the OGUK list of qualified physicians registered to carry out these medicals.

The OGUK Medicals are carried out to ensure that individuals are fit and able to carry out their duties prior to working in the environment of their chosen profession.

All Medical Assessments are carried out by an experienced doctor trained in this specialized area of medicine. Patients will feel at ease in our stylish grade II listed premises with free parking onsite available.

OGUK Offshore Medicals (formerly known as UKOOA)

You will need to pass an Offshore Medical Examination if you wish to work offshore. The OGUK Offshore Medical at only £160 is valid for two years and allows you to work in the UK sector or the North Sea.

An OGUK Offshore Medical at Park Private Clinic usually consists of the following:

Completion of Patient Questionnaire

• Urinalysis – routine urine test with immediate result
• BMI – measurement of height, weight and calculation of Body Mass Index
• Near Distance and Colour Vision
• Pulse and Blood Pressure Measurement
• Lung Function Test (peak flow)
• Musculo-skeletal Assessment
• Audiogram (hearing test)
• Consultation with a doctor

Norwegian Medicals

These are very similar to the OGUK Medical and the certificate for this can be issued at the same time as the OGUK.

The Norwegian medical allows you to work in Nowegian waters.
